Conan Returns to TV
This week marked the return of Conan O Brien , the former "Tonight Show", and "Late Night" host now has a new show in late night for the cable network TBS called "Conan" The Program airs 11PM Eastern time 8pm Pacific Time. He has spent many of his time this week blasting NBC. The show was good for his fans , but his way as an interview is still not the best. Though , TBS is happy with the ratings they got including a great lead in for their late night show "Lopez Tonight", which moved 1 hour later for Conan. Advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic range are holding strong, and his audience's median age is a young 32. In its first week, the show averaged a very respectable 2.9 million total viewers -- with 2.16 million of those in the 18-49 range, which puts him above all the other late night shows.
In other late night show news
ABC's latenight news program "Nightline" has been number 1 on the networks for 5 weeks in arow.

Guess who's coming too CNN... Sorry to report this
The title says , yes you may have known this. But Piers Morgan is replacing LarryKing on CNN soon. King is leaving after 25 years of being on CNN.
In my own words, CNN is made a bad choice nothing against Mr.Morgan. CNN will most likely do an interview show , but will Morgan do well with interviewing politicians and or doing breaking news , which Larry King has done many times.

Larry King Leaving CNN
Larry King announced today he was ending his show on CNN after 25 years of having his show there.
The future of CNN's primetime comes in to question , well talk more about that later.
His statement on his blog said this Before I start the show tonight, I want to share some personal news with you. 25 years ago, I sat across this table from New York Governor Mario Cuomo for the first broadcast of Larry King Live.
Now, decades later, I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games.
I’ll still be a part of the CNN family, hosting several Larry King specials on major national and international subjects.
I’m incredibly proud that we recently made the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest running show with the same host in the same time slot. With this chapter closing I’m looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring, but for now it’s time to hang up my nightly suspenders.

Weather Channel and how it has gone down hill?
Opinion
The Weather Channel in the past year , since the buying by NBC in 2008, has not really seemed like it's self anymore. Though for the past few years they have been going into a trend that many others don't like.

Spitzer and Parker get CNN show.
Guess who is coming to CNN? Well Cnn has tapped to 2 people to replace Campbell Brown in their 8PMET slot, Campbell resigned last month and waiting to leave. You may know one of their names former some say disgraced governor of NewYork Eliot Spitzer Along with Kathleen Parker of the Washington Post. CNN is hoping to make a new show that's different from their others that will be a debate show with 2 hots of different Views to bring together a picture. So CNN may now have trouble ,though since some don't like Spitzer due to his past including the hooker scandal which he resigned for in 2008 as Governor of NewYork. That maybe a hard catch for viewers or it might work. CNN also is not ridding of a woman in Prime Time thanks to them also picking Parker. So it's still where primetimes of the cable news channels still have at least 1 woman in their line ups. Spitzer had been doing some work at MSNBC including fill-in jobs and contributor.

CNN and Primetime troubles
Hopefuly to my understanding , CNN maybe trying to get rid of Larry King but in my own words they need to focus on filling Campbell Brown's Slot. Now Cnn is trying to not have big opinioned hosts in their line up but they need a strong news presentor then someone who is strong but fair. Someone that would bring that hour to a higher viewership. Here are some ideas I was thinking about. Rick Sanchez , he does CNN's Rick's List show weekdays 3-5pmet he is a strong News Anchor on the network and had done the 8PM until Campbell Brown had come Another choice is to import someone from another channel. This choice seems unliklely he works at MSNBC Donny Deucsh he's strong and very talented but he may not bring in the ratings but it would be a choice. Other ideas to pick up someone from the HLN line up and move them to CNN, HLN is owned by CNN, Like Mike Galanos he's strong voiced and very good on his show on HLN "Prime News" So what Can CNN do? I hope they consider a decsion take their time and not try to change the 9pm hour until they fix the 8pm.

Larry KIng may be getting replaced
There is some speculation that CNN may be piking up British TV host and Judge of America's Got Talent Piers Morgan may be replacing Larry King by Fall on CNN. Larry King's ratings have been down for a while. If not he may being tapped to host an 8PM Show to replace Campbell Brown. That would a surprise though there are many who would love to replace Larry King . Including Ryan Secrest. So that's the info we got right now so if any more comes out we will update this post.

Jay Leno making a return to Late Nights
So um, I guess we starting up back with Leno going back the show He left 'Tonight Show' that he left in May of 2009 to give to Conan O'Brien and then last month well then we know what happened there.
So now will viewers return? That's the first question NBC is now having to worry that will viewers return. Now in our own belief well atleast mine that Former 'Tonight show with Leno' fans were split up between Leno and Conan. So and many reports say that starts may not go on the show to boycott NBC.
More to come about this when Leno Takes over March 1st.

NBC :The aftermath
NBC is ending the 'Jay Leno Show' and he is moving back to the Tonight Show what I think NBC should think about doing for the 10/9c is give it to local Channels so that way NBC could focus on just the 8/7c and 9/8c Hour and the Late Night slots. I also believe that after Conan is allowed to go to another network he would ending competing on another channel. At some moment. NBC needs to get a better focus on their primetime and Late Night. My other idea is this Local News at 10/9c for 1 hour then NBC could do something like a National News show at 11/10c then Tonight show at 11:30pmET. NBC is stronger in their News department and they could grow on that.

NBC has a new plan for latenight
NBC announced Sunday that they officaly ending the Jay Leno show at 10pmET they are moving him to 11:35pmET the old slot he was at for the 'Tonight Show' This show will 30 minutes before handing off to Tonight show with Conan at 12:05am. he news, delivered at the TV Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour in Pasadena, comes just days after Leno used his talk-show pulpit to skewer NBC on the day that various media reports emerged that his days at 10 p.m. may be done. Leno taunted his network by saying "I hear Fox is beautiful this time of year" and joking that the trust between him and the Peacock network is gone.
Jimmy Fallon and Conan and Carson Daily move down 3o minutes.
What NBC should do at 10pmET? In my opinion they should give the hour to local channels. Also to note this changes are effective February 12th.
Another thing to point out is why the changes. Well , Jay's Ratings were bad at 10pm and Conan was being beat by Nightline (ABC) and Number 2 The Late Show with David Letterman. Another reason was NBC thinking to replace Conan with Jerry Seinfeld . So once again NBC wait and see.
