Mark's Media Report Card Sunday March 27th 2011

How did the media do this week in their coverage of stories? Here's  a look at  this.
 United States and other Countries "No Fly Zone" on Libya : How did the media cover this? Well to say awful is the last of their worries. It looks like we have a D- as our grade . They started of on last Saturday calling this everything but a war, unless your CNN ,then it was called Libya War. They weren't even skeptical of the whole thing until Monday. It took them until Tuesday to cover why the heck we are in there at all , we have no interests in Libya meaning no oil.  Shame on you media you're lucky you didn't get an F.

    There was the death of  Elizabeth Taylor:   I am going to split this grade up.  
First off, did the media cover it with grace?    A-    Yes as much as they could
Did they cover it too much?   B+ , well if you count the network newscasts that night  otherwise not overly too much.
Hmm how about the death of Fmr. Vice Presidental canidate of Geraldine Ferraro?  A , They did fair coverage with grace.
How about Nuclear coverage in Japan: They did try to scare us again. How did  they cover it this week, it kind of fell behind Libya . as if they were covering Japan fairly in the first place , how about instead of discussion on what the future of Nuclear energy in our country is  effected, maybe they should cover how the danger should be stopped there or how badly they covered it . Grade D  , that's on a Curve too.
 In political matters I think they want Newt Grinch and Michelle Bachmann to run , especially  the liberals at MSNBC primetime  They covered this awfully they also want to rush the process , it's March 2011 people calm down . My grade: F  Yeah I mean that too.
How about coverage of Obama in South America. Why was he there again?  No one seemed to ask that question.  Just give my grade :D   , they have are confused.
 More stuff happened in Egypt , you might not  know that , the media quit from that.  F
All together the media for this week gets my grade of   D+
