Al Gore saying to the NewYork Daily News  “because no one else has that voice. MSNBC has some liberal shows, but they’re all over the place in the daytime and they have a conservative in the morning.”
MSNBC is owned by a corporation “that demands ‘balance.’ So they have to dutifully talk to Tea Party people.
“We don’t have to do that because we own ourselves. We are the only network that’s not beholden to a corporation. Our only obligation is to the truth.”
Ms. Granholm says about her show in an interview with Detroit Free Press  "I am so excited to be launching the show right in the middle of what has already been the wildest presidential primary any of us can remember," "My show, it's going to be totally different than Keith and Cenk's shows. Both Keith and Cenk are progressive, but they are also both eager to punch out anyone without that perspective. 'The War Room' is really about bringing people inside. It comes from the other end of the spectrum."
The Current TV line up wiil now have 3 shows that will fit into the line up , it's not widely viewed network and mostly not available on basic cable , it has a lot of competition in the prime news network market ,and with Liberal viewers , who they want  since MSNBC also has a mostly progressive line up from 5PMET-11PMET.
