Fall TV Look 2026 NBC Upfronts
NBC is ready for fall. Even with the move to add Tuesday Nights sports with basketball and seceding the rest of the Sunday nights to sports like basketball and baseball. NBC has still decided to with scripted.
The network will have 4 new series, dramas The Rockford Files and Line of Fire and comedies Sunset PI and Newlyweds . There is also a new unscripted series based on the hit Peacock series The Traitors.
There's not a heavy change to the line up as consistency remains the focus. As before the One Night in Chicago with the three "Chicago" series still run on Wednesdays and Law & Order Thursdays still are in place. Fridays still have one hour of comedy with "Dateline" following.
Monday nights will have The Voice as normal with the show also airing on Tuesday nights before basketball season starts The new drama Line of Fire will air in NBC's traditional 10/9 central drama slot. Starting in November , NBC will bring back their comedies airing the return of St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. The new comedy Sunset P.I comes in the midseason taking the "Reggie Dinkins" slot.
Thursday nights are getting a slight tweak with Law & Order is moving from 8/7c to 10/9c. The show used to air at 10pm ET before it's original cancelation in 2010. The unscripted series Traitors is coming to Thursdays at 8/7c with a civilian version.
The Rockford Files remake is coming to 8pm/7c on Thursdays in the midseason.
Friday nights are still comedy for the first hour with the third season of Reba lead Happy's Place and a new comedy Newlyweds.
