BURBANK, CA (October 27, 2026) – The CW Network today announced its robust slate of holiday programming featuring timeless family favorites including A VERY BRADY CHRISTMAS, GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER, and A FLINTSTONE CHRISTMAS; all new specials such as WORLD’S FUNNIEST MOMENTS: CHRISTMAS and MASTERS OF ILLUSION: CHRISTMAS MAGIC; as well as the CW premieres of the hit movies THE WIZARD OF OZ and DOLLY PARTON’S CHRISTMAS OF MANY COLORS: CIRCLE OF LOVE.
The holiday season begins on Sunday, November 22 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT) with the CW premiere of the hit TV movie DOLLY PARTON’S CHRISTMAS OF MANY COLORS: CIRCLE OF LOVE. The film delivers Christmas joy and peril as an unexpected blizzard threatens the Parton family, while at the same time Dolly’s father (and his kids) make sacrifices to raise enough money to finally buy his loving wife the wedding ring he could never afford to give her. Meanwhile, an important person in little Dolly’s life begins to see that her amazing voice and musical gift might just be made for something bigger than rural Tennessee.
Gather the family together on Thanksgiving eve for the classic 1939 film THE WIZARD OF OZ as it makes its CW debut on Wednesday, November 25 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT). When a tornado rips through Kansas, young Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, are whisked away to the magical Land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard who can return them back home. On the way, meet a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. An encore presentation will air Sunday, December 20 (7:30-10:00pm ET/PT).
The holiday staple GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER returns to The CW on Friday, November 27 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). A one-hour special based on the hit song that became a worldwide holiday phenomenon, GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER is a goofy and heartwarming adventure that features young Jake Spankenheimer on the quest of a lifetime to track his missing Grandma down on Christmas Eve to prove that Santa Claus is indeed real. Michele Lee (“Knots Landing”) provides the voice of Jake’s greedy Cousin Mel and recording artist Elmo Shropshire provides the narration. An encore presentation will air on Wednesday, December 16 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).
Everyone’s favorite Stone Age family, the Flintstones, heads to The CW in two holiday specials, A FLINTSTONE CHRISTMAS on Friday, November 27 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) and A FLINTSTONES CHRISTMAS CAROL on Friday, December 4 (8:00-9:30pm ET/PT). In A FLINTSTONE CHRISTMAS, Santa Claus sprains his ankle while delivering presents in Bedrock, and Fred Flintstone and his pal Barney must save Christmas for children all over the world by taking Santa’s place. The only problem is that Fred promised Mr. Slate that he would play Santa at the children’s holiday party! Can Fred and Barney deliver the toys and make it back to the party in time? A FLINTSTONES CHRISTMAS CAROL sees Fred starring as Ebenezer Scrooge in the Bedrock Community Players production of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” His ego swells to the size of a Tyrannosaurus as he starts to become like the embittered old miser he is to portray. But by the time the curtain closes on the play, Wilma, Barney, and Pebbles help Fred learn the true meaning of Christmas.
The CW continues to celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton with a two-night tribute beginning with DOLLY PARTON: HERE I AM on Wednesday, December 2 (8:00-10:00pm) and DOLLY PARTON’S COAT OF MANY COLORS on Thursday, December 3 (8:00-10:00pm).
